Our Savour Oak Fermentation Chips utilize a long cycle convection oven toast designed to assist you with color stabilization and structural enhancement compounds during fermentation.
You can also order mouthfeel-enhancing untoasted Fermentation Chips, which have more hydrolyzable tannins and will add more structure and body, with less aromatics, to a red wine.
Savour Oak Fermentation Chips (pictured above) are Oven Convection toasted, adding structure and color benefits along with sweet aromatics to your wine.
Untoasted Oak Chips (pictured above) have more available hydrolysable tannins to encourage the building of mid-palate structure.
